Terms of service

Who we are

renderfloor (renderfloor.com) is run by Marek Mollin, Leszczynowa 84a/9, 80-298 Gdańsk, Poland. Write to us at hello@renderfloor.com. By buying credits or using the service you agree to these terms.

What renderfloor does

You upload a floor plan; we make a furnished model of the home from it and render it in the styles you choose: a dollhouse view from above, pictures of the rooms and an interactive viewer. The pictures are made by AI models.

Renders are visualisations, not plans. Furnishing, materials and light are illustrative, and sizes and proportions may slightly differ from the real home. Don't rely on them for measurements, construction or legal descriptions of a property.

Credits and payment

• The service is paid for with credits, bought in packs in US dollars. What each thing costs in credits is shown before you order it.
• Payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card details.
• Credits don't expire. They have no cash value and can't be transferred to another account.

Your plans and your pictures

• Only upload plans you have the right to use. You keep all rights to them.
• You let us store and process your plans and the pictures made from them, only to provide the service to you.
• The pictures we make for you are yours to use, including commercially: listings, brochures, websites.
• When you share a home, anyone with its link can see its pictures, until you stop sharing it.

Fair use

Don't use renderfloor to break the law, infringe others' rights, or disrupt or overload the service. We may suspend an account that does; we'll refund its unused paid credits unless the law says otherwise.

Availability and liability

We aim for results within 60 minutes and keep the service running, but can't promise it is never slow or down. As far as the law allows, our liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits your rights as a consumer under the law of the country you live in.

Changes and law

We may update these terms; the date below says when they last changed, and we'll email you about changes that matter. Polish law applies, without taking away the protection your own country's consumer law gives you.

Refunds

• Unused credits: ask within 14 days of buying them and we refund the unused part of the pack to your card.
• When we can't deliver: if a home or a style fails and we can't make it, its credits go back to your account.
• Credits already spent: a home or a style starts being made as soon as you order it. By ordering, you ask us to start right away and accept that the 14-day right of withdrawal ends for those credits once it starts.

Privacy policy

Who is responsible

The data controller is Marek Mollin, Leszczynowa 84a/9, 80-298 Gdańsk, Poland (hello@renderfloor.com).

What we collect, and why

• Your email address, from Google sign-in or a sign-in link: to keep your account, sign you in and tell you when your home is ready.
• Your plans and what we make from them: to make and show your renders.
• Payments: Stripe gives us a payment's reference, amount and date, which we keep as accounting records. Card details stay with Stripe.
• Messages you send us, such as questions from Help: to answer them.
• Technical records: server logs with your IP address, kept briefly to keep the service secure and fix problems.

The legal bases are the contract with you (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)), our legal duty to keep accounting records (6(1)(c)) and our legitimate interest in a secure, working service (6(1)(f)). We don't sell your data, show ads or profile you.

Cookies

Only the ones the service needs: one that keeps you signed in (90 days), one that remembers your language (a year) and a short-lived one during Google sign-in (10 minutes). No analytics or advertising cookies: we count visits with PostHog, which stores nothing in your browser. The site's fonts come from Google Fonts, which sees your IP address.

Who helps us

These services process data for us, under data processing agreements:

• Cloudflare: hosting the site and storing files.
• Hetzner: the server that runs the service, in the EU.
• fal.ai: AI models that work on your pictures.
• OpenRouter and the AI model providers it uses: your plans and pictures are sent to them to make the renders.
• Google: sign-in. Stripe: payments. Zoho (ZeptoMail): sending email.
• PostHog: counting visits and how the site is used, in the EU.

Some of them are in the United States. Transfers outside the EU rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

Your account and homes stay while you have the account. Accounts that never sign in are deleted after 30 days. When you ask us to delete your account, we delete it and its homes within 30 days, except payment records, which Polish law requires us to keep for 5 years.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, to correct it, delete it, restrict or object to its use, or have it in a form you can take elsewhere: write to hello@renderfloor.com. You can also complain to the Polish data protection authority, the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO, uodo.gov.pl), or the authority where you live.

renderfloor isn't meant for children under 16.
